Fantastic to be at the Wild Didcot Cafe on May 14th, hosted by Wild Didcot, part of Sustainable Didcot.
The Didcot Garden for Wildlife Charter launched encouraging us to -
provide wildlife with access to our gardens
leave an area of the garden to grow wild
stop using pesticides, weed killers and peat
provide a water source
nurture existing trees and plants and add more nectar and pollen-rich plants.
There were lots of different activities to get involved with - willow weaving with the Earth Trust, making a bee box, getting hands on with a big range of peat-free compost, learning about mini beasts and ponds and finding out about Planet Patrol and more!
