Wild Didcot Cafe May 2022

Fantastic to be at the Wild Didcot Cafe on May 14th, hosted by Wild Didcot, part of Sustainable Didcot.

The Didcot Garden for Wildlife Charter launched encouraging us to -

  • provide wildlife with access to our gardens

  • leave an area of the garden to grow wild

  • stop using pesticides, weed killers and peat

  • provide a water source

  • nurture existing trees and plants and add more nectar and pollen-rich plants.

There were lots of different activities to get involved with - willow weaving with the Earth Trust, making a bee box, getting hands on with a big range of peat-free compost, learning about mini beasts and ponds and finding out about Planet Patrol and more!
